Season finale for 2010!

Well, BJJ season for 2010 ended with a bang! Great turnout, awesome training on the mats! We'll be taking a break and resume training on Thursday, 6th January 2011. See you then!

New purple belt!

After almost 9 long years of training in BJJ, I was promoted to purple belt by Sam Wee last night at KDT Academy.

Thanks, Sam. It was totally unexpected...

Thanks also to my training partner Mandeng, my students at PJ Jiujitsu Club (esp. Rey, Shyang, Alan, Aizat, Benny, Fam, Len, Zairul etc), Mordani and the guys at KDT!! :-)

Another Blue belt in the house!

Our Mr Fam was promoted to blue belt by Mandeng in class earlier tonight.

New Blue Belt!

Congrats to my long time training partner Mordani (or "Dany" as he is known to his friends) who was promoted to blue belt by Mandeng!

Dany has been doing BJJ since mid/late 90s (before any official BJJ clubs were ever in Malaysia) and has been nicknamed "father of Malaysian BJJ"), so his promotion today has been way overdue. :-)
